"Sunshine" Bracelet
This bracelet, like the coordinating necklace and earrings of the same name, is inspired by a chapter of Hawthorne's The Marble Faun in which Donatello serves a friend wine made from grapes grown in the vineyard on his family estate. The wine is remarkable, but its most delightful qualities fade quickly and must be enjoyed on the spot if they are to be enjoyed at all.

This design includes some of the same kinds of beads as the "Sunshine" necklace, notably step-cut rock-crystal beads and citrine beads of various shapes, cuts, and sizes. But this bracelet also includes white topaz beads in two sizes to give the piece a lovely (and very wearable) tapering effect toward the ends. The colors of the citrine range from deep golden to very pale yellow, and the warmth is accented by the gold-filled clasp and chain.
