"Starlit Garden" Necklace

This necklace, one of the "Midnight" designs from the STARSNOW Collection, was inspired by the image of a beautiful, snowy garden on a winter's night. It features black onyx beads in a carved flower shape and hand-cut faceted ovals of rainbow moonstone, which mimic the frosty sparkle of snow and ice. The sun-ray pattern on the arrowhead-shaped pendant recalls the twinkle of stars on a clear, cold night, and the point motif is repeated in the diamond-shaped links of chain and the spear-shaped pin that finishes the extender chain. Small, faceted rounds of Mexican zebra jasper add further touches of black and white, and the sterling-silver bead caps that hold the pendant bail in place are flower-shaped in keeping with the garden theme.

This is a necklace for times when you want to feel elegant and tough, beautiful and badass, all at once. It'll look great with a wide range of outfits, but my personal favorites both begin with a black turtleneck. Option 1: slim black pants and ballet flats. Option 2: jeans, a moto vest or jacket, and slouchy gray short boots.

Rainbow moonstone can fracture with rough treatment, so please be gentle with it, even when you're feeling tough. 😉
